The LEG Up on SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, & ISEE Prep
GROUP & CLASS TUTORING AVAILABLE FOR SCHOOLS & OTHER ORGANIZATIONS
We work with small groups, public and private schools, and other organizations to develop test-prep programs for the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, and ISEE that effectively meet the needs of their students and help them significantly improve their scores on these tests. Please call us for more information.
For these standardized tests, students always receive Two Tutors instead of one
An SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, & ISEE Math & Science Tutor:
Each student works with a Math & Science Tutor with proven success at helping students improve their scores on the Math sections of the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, and ISEE, and Math and Science sections of the ACT. The tutor intensively helps the student prep for only the Math and Science sections of the test by teaching strategies, providing tips, and reviewing all math and science concepts tested on these exams until the student has mastered them and is successfully applying them to practice test questions.
An SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, & ISEE English / Writing & Reading Tutor:
Each student also works with an English / Writing & Reading Tutor with proven success at helping students improve their scores on the English / Writing and Reading sections on the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, and ISEE. The tutor assists the student to effectively prepare for the timed essay sections, improve their knowledge of grammatical and rhetorical concepts tested on these exams, utilize better strategies for answering reading comprehension passages, and provides tips and tactics for the vocabulary sections while helping students to improve their vocabulary at the same time.
Students work with both tutors to answer numerous practice test questions from the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT, SSAT, and ISEE while applying test-taking strategies and mastering subject-specific content in order to significantly improve their scores on these tests.
Our program allows students to receive expert tutoring on each section of their standardized tests, enabling them to learn different ways to approach a question so that the student has various options to choose from when under time constraints on test day. It also allows students to maximize their scores on each section of the test!
SAT SUBJECT TESTS:
The SAT Subject Tests are hour-long tests administered by the SAT throughout the year. Some colleges and universities require students to submit at least two SAT Subject Tests when applying for admission. Some schools recommend for students to take these tests and submit their scores along with their applications. Students may take up to three SAT Subject Tests on one test day.
